2026 Primary Voting Information

City of Chicago
Early voting: Early voting in Chicago begins on February 12th, 2026 at the Chicago Board of Elections Super Site at 137 S State St in Chicago (This is a new location) and the Chicago Board of Elections Office at 69 W. Washington, 6th Floor. Early voting opens in all wards on March 2nd. For a full list of hours and locations, click here.
Vote by mail: You can request your ballot by mail or online until March 12th. For more information on voting by mail, click here.
Election Day: Election Day is March 17th and polls will be open from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. To find your polling place, click here.
Cook County
Early voting: Early Voting for the March 17th Primary Election will begin on February 18th at all five suburban Cook County Circuit Courthouse locations and in downtown Chicago at 69 W. Washington.
Expanded early voting locations will begin on March 2nd and run through March 16th. For a full list of early voting locations, click here.
Vote by mail: You can request a ballot by mail until March 12th. Ballot drop-off boxes are located at every early voting location. For more information on voting by mail, click here.

DuPage County
